The other day I was rushing home after a meeting and as I was walking, I saw a musician playing his saxophone. It was just beautiful. The music, the tones, the weather, the energy, everything was just perfect.
Could it be that we miss beauty simply because it isn’t presented to us in a certain package or because it’s not on television?
Moments like this are meant to be enjoyed. This kind of beauty is out there for the taking.
We should go through life paying attention to the LITTLE things because maybe one day we’ll look back and realize that they were the BIG things, the important things. Choose to slow down. Choose to rejuvenate, to take those times of calm and relaxation. I could’ve kept walking, after all, I was looking down at my phone like the rest of the people walking nowadays. More often than not, we miss these beautiful moments and that’s a shame.
