Even though I meditate twice a day, I like to incorporate some coloring into my schedule. It truly gets my mind out of things, helps me relax, and even hits my creative side. Some days I actually feel proud of my color combinations.

Dr. Stan Rodski, a neuropsychologist and author of an adult line of coloring books, explained the similarities between coloring and meditation. He says that just as Mindfulness meditation, coloring can also help to anchor yourself in the present moment and achieve a relaxed state of mind.
